summer-only & Collegiate Rower Options
- Rowers who are college aged and who have rowed for at least one season are welcome to join the Intermediate Program for the summer season before their return to school in the fall. Due to the age categories and restrictions regarding juniors/seniors/masters rowing, college aged rowers are generally not allowed to participate in regattas with the adult teams.
- We also understand that some master rowing members have schedules that do not allow for rowing after the change into the fall season. These non-novice rowers are welcome to register for the Intermediate Program, summer only/college option. They are permitted to be included in the boat lineup in any summer sprint races their team participates in under the "open" category, as well as the Rock the Occ half marathon in September. They may not attend fall practices or participate in fall head races.
Duration: June 1 to August 30
Prerequisite: Approval by Team Head Coach and PWRC Executive Board
